EU and UNDP launch psychological preparedness training course for patrol police in Armenia


The UN Development Programme (UNDP), with the support of the European Union , has launched a psychological preparedness training course for patrol police in Armenia. 

The course will provide patrol police officers with a number of trainings aimed at strengthening their capacity and skills in communication and negotiation, conflict management, active listening, rapport building, and coping with stress. The aim of the course is to improve the quality of services provided by the patrol police officers.

The training is conducted within the framework of the EU-funded ‘Accountable Institutions and Human Rights Protection in Armenia’ project, implemented by the UNDP in Armenia, UNICEF Armenia, UNFPA Armenia, and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
