EU and UNDP help to organise Azerbaijan’s first restaurant services competition

The European Union, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the State Agency for Professional Education and the WorldSkills Azerbaijan platform have joined forces to organise a competition for restaurant services, the first time such an event has been held in Azerbaijan.

The competition was supported by the ‘VET for the Future’ project, funded by the European Union. One of the project’s activities is to support the organisation of national competitions and the preparation of local professionals for international competitions in various fields.

A total of 173 people from different cities of the country were selected to participate in the competition, performing various tasks before a jury until three of them emerged as winners.
