EU and Armenia celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations

On 10 August, the European Union and the Republic of Armenia celebrate 30 years of their diplomatic relations.

“Over this period, bilateral relations have developed and deepened,” says a press release by the EU Delegation to Armenia.

The Delegation reminds that the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed in November 2017 and put into progress in March 2021. CEPA plays an important role in our partnership and in the modernisation of Armenia, in particular through legislative approximation to EU norms in many sectors.

The EU is looking forward to working more closely with Armenia in our mutual interest and to the benefit of our societies and citizens,”  says the press release.
