EU Ambassador in Moldova visits Edinets to launch EU-funded project


EU Ambassador Peter Michalko has visited the northern region of the Republic of Moldova for the launch of the EU-funded ‘Edinet – insights into tomorrow cities’ project. The Ambassador met with representatives of the local authorities, Local Action Groups and Civil Society organisations from Edinet.

The ‘Edinet – insights into tomorrow cities’ will contribute to the creation of better living and working conditions, higher quality services and attractive urban spaces in a modern city to over 20,000 inhabitants of Edinet municipality. With financial assistance of more than €4 million, the project will be implemented during the next four years by the Town Hall of Edinet municipality in partnership with the City Hall of Alba Iulia municipality from Romania.
