Energy Secretariat: first aid shipment of critical specialised energy equipment arrives in Ukraine

The first shipment of emergency equipment to help repair energy infrastructure damaged during the war coordinated by the Energy Secretariat has arrived in Ukraine.

The Secretariat is doing everything within its power to help keep the lights on in Ukraine. The emergency supplies delivered will help safeguard access to energy for the people of Ukraine,” said Energy Secretariat Director Artur Lorkowski.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine compiles a list of urgent requests from critical energy infrastructure operator companies. In response to this list, shipments from Norway, Spain and Switzerland, coordinated by the Secretariat, are being sent to Ukraine. The Secretariat is also working with its partners to deliver additional supplies from Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Sweden, Latvia, the Netherlands and other countries.
