Education is the front line: EU summer school starts in Lviv

The EU Study Days Summer School organised by the EU Delegation to Ukraine began in Lviv yesterday, bringing together 40 schoolchildren and students from all over Ukraine, who also participated in the spring EU Study Days session.

For the first time in almost two years, graduates of the programme have the opportunity to gather offline. Participants of the Summer school will learn more about European values, policies and implementation, as well as meet personally with representatives of local authorities, civil society, business, and projects.

Speakers emphasised that Ukraine will need active and educated youth to build the state after the war. “Your front now is studying. Your front gaining new knowledge and skills,” said Victoria Davydova, Press and Information Officer of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
