Azerbaijan: EU-funded project helps small family businesses to better sell their products

A total of 44 Azerbaijani families running their small family businesses have received training and equipment as part of an EU-funded project, implemented by the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) together with the public entity ABAD (Simplified Support to Family Businesses).

ABAD’s centres implement assistance projects for family businesses engaged in arts and agriculture.

During the training, the small family business holders from the Sheki and Balakan regions of Azerbaijan were provided with advice on the production processes, their products, and sales. Now their products are available for sale at supermarkets of Azerbaijan and ABAD ethno-boutiques.
