Armenia: EU4Business launches new Science and Technology Convergence Platform

The Catalyst Foundation in Armenia has launched a new Science and Technology Convergence Platform (STCP).

The project is supported by the EU4Business Innovative Tourism and Technology (ITTD) programme and aims to accelerate and facilitate cooperation between representatives of local science, industry, academia, government and donor communities.

At the opening conference on research and technology transfer at the end of September, EU Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin welcomed participants. “I hope that today’s initiative will further harness the potential of Armenia and the Armenian diaspora, around applied and basic research, and promote cooperation between knowledge-intensive companies and the academic community,” the Ambassador said.
