Armenia: EU provides equipment to farmers in Lori and Tavush regions

The EU-funded project ‘EU-LEAD4Lori and Tavush’ this week distributed food processing equipment to local farmers.

A total of 15 economic operators of rural communities in Lori and Tavush regions received equipment for bread, bakery and confectionery products. At the same time, milking equipment was provided to two beneficiaries of the state programme on ‘Construction or renovation and technological refurbishment of small and medium-sized ‘smart’ barns’.

This support is provided as part of the project’s efforts to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the operations of rural businesses in the Lori and Tavush Regions.
