Women and Men in Leadership Positions in Ukraine: 2017-2020

This publication was produced within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project Strengthening Business Associations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Stage 2), implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, and with the support of Switzerland.

Women and Men in Leadership Positions in Ukraine: 2017-2020 is a repeated study on women and men in leadership positions in Ukraine (the first one was conducted in 2017). The research is based on a statistical analysis of open data from the register of enterprises in Ukraine. The results reveal gender disparity among organization managers and entrepreneurs in Ukraine as a whole, as well as wide variations in the gender distribution of managers and entrepreneurs across the country’s regions and communities. The study was published by the Ukrainian Center for Social Data in 2021.
