Raising awareness about violence against women: Article 13 of the Istanbul Convention

This new publication contains a translation into Azerbaijani of Article 13 of the Istanbul Convention (the Council of Europe’s Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence) on how to raise awareness on violence against women. This brochure also explains what steps can be taken in this direction, such as involving experts in the topic (including women’s organisations), dedicating sufficient resources for them and taking into account the specific context in which they are delivered.

The translation was prepared within the framework of the project on ‘Raising awareness of the Istanbul Convention and other gender equality standards in Azerbaijan’, financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in its Partnership for Good Governance phase II.
