Welcome to the new EU NEIGHBOURS east website!

Welcome to the new euneighbourseast.eu website, the one-stop-shop for everything you need to know about cooperation and relations between the European Union and its six Eastern partners – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The new website is a clear and intuitive platform delivering the latest news, feature stories, opportunities, facts, background information and much, much more. For the first time ever, it also provides a comprehensive database of all the projects funded by the EU in the Eastern Partnership region. It also highlights the network of Young European Ambassadors and the full range of their actions across the partner countries.

The website is fully integrated across eight languages – English, Russian, and now for the first time all six languages of the Eastern partner countries: Armenian, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Georgian, Romanian, and Ukrainian.

You are able to receive instant or daily summary alerts, and to fine-tune your selection across types of content, country of interest and preferred language. Just click on the ‘manage my preferences’ link at the bottom of the email alert to update your selections.

The website is part of the four-year EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (2020-2024), which aims to enhance strategic communication actions, improve public understanding of the European Union and its policies, and build resilience against disinformation in the EU and its Eastern Neighbourhood.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
