Ukraine: UNDP and EU open Spatial Planning Office in Donetsk Oblast

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, with financial support from the European Union, has opened an Office for Spatial Development Planning for the community of Druzhkivka, in Donetsk Oblast.

А system of e-management of community resources based on the Spatial Planning Office will provide local people with an opportunity to openly and transparently obtain information about the community’s available land and urban resources, protect property rights, and make the community attractive for investment. The office will also digitise existing paper documents.

The Spatial Planning Office was set up and equipped with furniture and equipment by UNDP under the United Nations Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme, with financial support from the European Union.
