Ukraine: EU and UNDP open new centre for STEAM education in Luhansk oblast


On 1 October,the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine opened a new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) centre in Rubizhne, Luhansk Oblast, with financial support from the European Union.

The centre will help to develop the potential of talented young people in Luhansk Oblast, as well as bolster opportunities for the professional development of teachers of natural sciences.

The STEAM education centre is provided with modern equipment for robotics, 3D-modelling and conducting laboratory work in astronomy, biology, geography, physics, and chemistry. The total cost of the project was over €55,000.
