A Eurobarometer survey in all EU Member States published on 15 June confirmed the large support among Europeans for the EU’s response to the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Humanitarian actions are the most supported (93%) followed by welcoming in the EU Ukrainians fleeing the war (91%). According to Eurobarometer, 80% of Europeans support economic sanctions on the Russian government, companies and individuals, and 70% support the financing of supply and delivery of military equipment to Ukraine.
The survey also shows that European citizens massively support the common security and defence policy (81%) and expect the EU to phase out its dependency on Russian sources of energy (87%).
