Moldova: social enterprises from both banks of Nistru River receive €35,000 each from the EU to help vulnerable groups

Fourteen social enterprises from both banks of the Nistru River in Moldova have received grants of €35,000 each from the European Union in order to be able to provide more assistance to vulnerable groups.

In this way, the associations will contribute to the creation of about 80 jobs for representatives of disadvantaged categories, and more than 700 people will benefit from free services or benefits.

The grants were awarded as part of the project ‘Local Civil Society Contributes to Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Development in Moldova’, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by the European Union and co-financed by Sweden.
