Michel discusses security situation in Europe with Erdogan


European Council President Charles Michel discussed the security situation in Europe with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 6 March, calling it critical.

Commenting on his conversation with Erdogan, Michel wrote on Twitter that “alliance is unified and strong against Russia’s war in Ukraine.”

With the tragic scenes unfolding, focus on stopping the conflict and relieving the humanitarian suffering are imperative,” said Michel.
