Katariná Mathernová visits Moldova ahead of Eastern Partnership Summit


The Deputy Director-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Katariná Mathernová this week visited the Republic of Moldova to discuss EU support for economic recovery.

The high-level EU official met the President of the Republic of Moldova, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Prime-minister, as well as representatives of the Moldovan government. Katariná Mathernová reiterated the EU’s commitment to support the Republic of Moldova during this period.

In Moldova to discuss support from the EU for the people of the country, focused on economic recovery and budget support to help address challenges during this period, ahead of the Eastern Partnership Summit, said Katariná Mathernová on Twitter.
