Information for people fleeing the war in Ukraine: EU launches website with key info to assist refugees – now available in Ukrainian
With millions of Ukrainian refugees fleeing their homes and seeking safety and protection in neighbouring countries, the European Commission has launched a dedicated webpage to assist them and make sure they know their basic rights in the EU.
If you are fleeing the war in Ukraine and coming to the European Union, you will find key information about your rights with regard to crossing the border into an EU country, eligibility for temporary protection and applying for international protection, as well as the rights of travel inside the European Union.
The webpage – available in Ukrainian and English – includes detailed information on:
- Preparing to leave
- Your rights in the EU
- Onward travel in the EU
- Additional information from national authorities
