European Union provides COVID safety training for high-risk groups in Georgia

The European Union in Georgia has organised training sessions for groups at high risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eight training sessions on safety measures were conducted for 88 long-haul truck drivers in Poti. Another three training sessions were conducted for the 30 vendors of the Khobi farmers’ market. The participants were also provided with personal protective equipment.

These activities in Georgia were implemented in cooperation with the WHO as part of the measures to support the country through the COVID-19 pandemic.
