European Union equips the Kyiv Police Training Centre with essential IT systems

The EU Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine has equipped the Kyiv Police Training Centre with essential IT systems needed for the quality delivery of scenario-based training.

The video, audio, recording and displaying equipment worth almost €11,000 enables live capturing and streaming for trainees observing practical training on investigative interviewing, domestic violence prevention, crime scene evidence collection, etc.

The Kyiv Police Training Centre is the first of nine similar centres in the regions to receive this kind of IT equipment from EUAM. The Mission also plans to provide such support for the training centres in Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv and Kherson.

The EU Advisory Mission advises and mentors Ukrainian civilian security sector actors to support reforms aimed at establishing sustainable institutions that are effective, accountable and enjoy public trust.
