EU4Youth online business training for social entrepreneurs in Georgia

On January 18-21, the EU4Youth social entrepreneurship project carried out its second online business planning traning for project beneficiaries in Georgia.

A total of 22 trainees learnt about social enterprises and social entrepreneurship, organisational and legal forms of enterprises, marketing, management and financial planning. The participants also received information on how to develop a business plan.
The four-day training was led by the Association of Business Consulting Organisations of Georgia (ABCO).
From January 25, project beneficiaries will move on to the next stage of their training, which is to start developing a business plan with experienced consultants.

The  EU4Youth SEAG project (‘Social Entrepreneurship in Armenia and Georgia’) fosters youth employment and societal change through social entrepreneurship in border regions of Armenia and Georgia. The project supports the development of the entrepreneurial potential of young people (aged 18-29) in the field of social entrepreneurship, notably with a view to contributing to social cohesion, employment, inclusion, and reduction of inequalities. The project is implemented in Georgia by Mercy Corps Europe, together with ABCO.
