At the beginning of June, the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid programme launched a new project to help vulnerable people in Azerbaijan affected by the recent conflict.

The project will be implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Azerbaijan and will aim to improve the lives and livelihoods of low-income families.

According to the European Union Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, the activity will provide direct immediate short-term support to 1,500 individuals and their families.
