EU-supported think tank helps introduce new state service to ease doing business in Ukraine

The EU-supported Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) together with the Ukrainian Ministries of Digital Transformation and Economy have developed a package of legislation to reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs in times of war.

As long as martial law is in force in the country, it will be sufficient to submit a declaration of economic activity without needing to obtain permits and licences. From now on, this can be done online via the Diia public services portal in a few minutes. The service can be used by both self-employed individuals and other legal entities.

The BRDO is a leading Ukrainian independent think tank in the field of economic regulation assisting the government in carrying out medium- and long-term economic reforms to improve the business environment.
