Energy Community Secretariat to assist Ukraine in coordination of emergency supplies

The Energy Community Secretariat has agreed to assist the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine in the coordination of emergency supplies to Ukraine.

Due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the country urgently needs supplies of repair materials and fuels, such as diesel, petrol, coal and generators, to ensure the stability of its energy system.

The actions will be closely coordinated with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

The Secretariat will maintain a database of emergency materials needed by Ukraine and actively reach out to governments, donors and energy companies for emergency supplies. Items on the list will be updated regularly.
