Azerbaijan: EU and UNDP improve the capacity of CSOs to engage in policy-making processes

The European Union and UNDP have organised a four-days training programme on public policy and policy analysis in Baku.

As part of the EU-funded ‘Developing innovation-driven and sustainable civil society in Azerbaijan’ project,  this activity aims to increase the participation of civil society organisations (CSOs) in policy-making processes.

More than 40 civil society organisations and activist groups from 14 districts of Azerbaijan participated in the programme. They deepened their knowledge of different methods of data collection and analysis, and practiced drafting policy briefs and formulating policy recommendations.
