As the business develops, more young people with hearing impairments will benefit. Those that are not hired by the business initiated by the project, will benefit from beekeeping training and licensing. This will help them to either start their own business or find employment in the sector.

I am passionate about beekeeping. After I graduated from the secondary school in the village of Cobusca Nouă, I enrolled at the beekeeping school in Bubuieci (Chișinău). I have an apiary with 15 hives and I would like to develop a business in this field. I’m currently employed at the Bee’s Gift apiary, which was established by the Association for the Deaf Children of Moldova. This social enterprise offers beekeeping training, career guidance and entrepreneurial training to young people with hearing impairments from rural areas of the Republic of Moldova. It aims at:
