In 2012, the Eco-Razeni NGO founded the first catering social enterprise in the Republic of Moldova – SIE Floare de cireş SRL, which offers training and employment for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, mainly with disabilities, from rural areas. More than 100 young women and men are already part of our success story. Moreover, the social enterprise supports 36 poor elderly people living alone in Razeni, delivering warm meals to their homes three times a week. Between 2013 and 2020, more than 220 beneficiaries of the social canteen received 30,000 warm meals free of charge.
