Arina Zhadzeyeva

Arina is currently studying Political Science at the Faculty of International Relations and Political Science at Uniwersytet Warszawski (Warsaw University). She is on her Erasmus+ exchange programme at the Universiteit Antwerpen (University of Antwerp) in Belgium. She is a recepient of a Rector’s scholarship and is passionate about sport, psychology and digitalisation in politics. Arina is looking forward to being a Young European Ambassador and the opportunities and challenges this role will bring in the future.

Artemij Vashkevich

Artemij is a Belarusian human rights activist based in Warsaw. He is currently volunteering for several human rights centers, having graduated from the Belarusian Human Rights School. In 2020 he was elected by the Belarusian Helsinki Committee to be an election observer. As a member of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative Artemij looks forward to contributing as much as possible to the development of Belarusian culture and resolving the current human rights situation in Belarus.

Vadzim Valasevich

Vadzim is currently studying at the Stokholmas Ekonomikas Augstskola Rīgā (Stockholm School of Economics in Riga). During his secondary school studies, he was accepted into the European International Baccalaureate Scholarship programme in Tbilisi, Georgia. With a passion for human rights, international cooperation, and artistic expression, Vadzim has already participated in several international projects in seven countries. He hopes that being a Young European Ambassador will help him enhance skills he has learned while participating in these projects, such as managerial and cross-cultural communications.

Tatsiana Sidarovich

Tatsiana is studying for a joint Bachelor degree in World Politics and Economics at both the Europos Humanitarinis Universitetas (European Humanities University) in Vilnius and Vytauto Didžiojo Universitetas (Vytautas Magnus University) in Kaunas. She is currently doing her Erasmus+ exchange programme at the Uniwersytet Jagielloński (Jagiellonian University) in Krakow. Maksimilian Shumel

Maksimilian is an enthusiastic member of the European Law Research Club, where he dives into the intricacies of European legal frameworks. He is also taking a political leadership course at the Free Belarusian University, showcasing his commitment to fostering positive change. He is also pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations, developing his skills in academic excellence and proactive engagement. Anna Sabolevskaya

Anna is currently studying Social Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Universiteit Gent. She has been involved in a number of local and international projects, namely Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, the “Peacebuilding Techniques to Young People” a training course by Council of Europe, the International Human Rights School and the Media Hub for young journalists. She is passionate about promoting human rights and youth activism, and believes that being a Young European Ambassador is a great opportunity to raise awareness on important issues in our society and share ideas with like-minded people from all over the world.

Alina Melnikava

Alina is an interdisciplinary artist, studying at New York University, looking to bring accessible international education opportunities to young people from all over Europe. Having graduated from the European Eastern Partnership School, she is keen to create safe spaces for people to exchange their diverse perspectives and share their experiences to support each other in their professional and creative pursuits. 

Dominik Matsukevich

Dominik is studying for a Bachelor degree in Political Philosophy at Karlshochschule International University in Germany. He is effective in intercultural communication and fluent in several foreign languages. He is interested in strategic and geopolitical thinking, and aspires to actively participate in European politics in the future. Dominik believes that the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative will be his starting point to an active participation in European politics in the future. 

Sviataslau Kruk

Sviataslau is a young professional based in Warsaw, where he skillfully manages multicultural events while harboring a profound love of Belarusian culture. His commitment to equality and human rights is unwavering, standing as the pillar of his values. Beyond his managerial role, Sviataslau actively engages as a journalist, fervently advocating for and highlighting the richness of Belarusian heritage while championing the causes of equality and human rights.

Sofiya Koyan

Sofiya is studying European Studies at the Uniwersytet Jagielloński (Jagiellonian University) and is interested in studying European Integration. She speaks five languages ​​fluently and has already studied in 4 different countries. Sofiya regularly volunteers at a humanitarian aid center in Warsaw where she helps organise events and training for refugees from Belarus and Ukraine. She believes that we are all part of something great, and we can all make a difference for a better future.

Alina Kharysava

Alina is an aspiring politician, now completing her studies in Political Science at the Technische Universität München (Technical University of Munich). Outside of her studies Alina takes part in many educational programmes in Europe. She has created several organisations to help refugees in Munich, as well as non-governmental organisations promoting gender equality in Belarus. Alina is actively involved in political life, promoting democracy, human rights and inclusion. She also heads international policy areas at the Youth Advisory Council of the US Embassy, Coordination Council of Belarus and Belarusian Student Association. 

Lydia Kamynina

Lydia is studying Information Technology at Vidzemes Augstskola (Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences) in Latvia, and is not just a tech enthusiast but a dynamic force for future positive change as well. Beyond her studies, she is passionate about making a difference in the future and has volunteered in a variety of non-governamental organisations, leading workshops for youth with disabilities and organising different events for international students. She is a skilled communicator and advocate for people’s rights, and has extensive experience as an event planner, having organised events for over 60 people.

Anastasiya Charniak

Anastasia graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University, and is now a Master’s degree student at the Faculty of Economics of the Università degli studi di Perugia (University of Perugia). During her time in secondary school, she was the chairman of the UNESCO club and took part in organising and conducting volunteer projects in the fields of culture and education. She has also been involved in organising and fundraising with student associations, and hopes that her skills will be useful in promoting the mission of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Usevalad Lahun

Usevalad is a young civic activist and a student at Europos Humanitarinis Universitetas (European Humanities University) and Vytauto Didžiojo Universitetas (Vytautas Magnus University). He has taken part in a variety of EU initiatives, including the Philoxenia camp (Genk, Belgium) and European Youth Event (Varazdin, Croatia). Usevalad has also volunteered in local communities (in events and conferences organised by his university) and at international level, for example, helping refugees from Polish and Slovak camps. Usevalad hopes to work on his practical soft and hard skills through the Young European Ambassadors initiative.

Darya Mikhalka

Darya is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. Majoring in European Politics and Economics, Darya is passionate about her field of study. Darya graduated in 2023 and after almost three years of study, she became a representative of her faculty and also became a recipient of the rector’s scholarship for academic success.
